This post is for me more than you, so I am not offended if you don't make it to the end. :) We had so much fun on our trip! The kids were great, the weather was perfect, and it was just fun to get away. It started Monday. We got all packed up ready to go and set out. We had a few errands to run on our way out of town, including stopping at the doctors office for our gender ultrasound! Turns out, it's another boy. Mason told the tech that did the ultrasound she could keep it because he already has a brother. Hopefully he will get used to the idea and love him when he comes in November. ;) After that appointment, we hit the road. Carter gagged himself and threw up twice, Mason had to go potty, and we all got hungry. After much stopping, we finally arrived at our hotel. We unloaded and headed to the pool. It was freezing, but we still had some fun. The boys got their first Disneyland present! Pajamas. McQueen for Mason and Buzz for Carter. To say they were excited is an understatement. We ran to the grocery store and got some milk and a few other things for the next day, ate some Mac and Cheese, and hit the sack.
Tuesday we got up bright and early! Ate breakfast and packed our snack bag. The boys got new Toy Story shirts to wear and they loved them. We left about 7:30 so we could be there when the park opened at 8:00. The lines were super short so we got to go on lots of rides that morning! The first was the Buzz ride, and then next was supposed to be Star Tours. As soon as Spencer and Mason got to the front of the line, Mason had to go potty and they didn't end up going. ha ha ha. The boys loved Autopia and Nemo. We saw our neighbors the Halls there, which was crazy! We didn't even know they were going. After spending the morning there, we headed to California Adventure for a while. I had to wait in line to get our World of Color tickets, (Which ended up being for the 11:15 show! We thought they were for 9:00) We went to the Playhouse Disney show, rode some other rides and had a fun afternoon. Mason was even brave and went on the water ride he was afraid of. At dinner, we found a spot to save for the Pixar Parade and spent way to much on dinner. We sat by some fun people and had a good time. The parade was SO COOL! The boys loved it. Carter just beamed when one of the characters would wave right at him and he really loved it when Buzz squirted him with water. What fun. We had a few hours to kill before the show that night, so we went on some more rides. While we were waiting in line for the Farris Wheel, a group of Korean tourists were behind us and asked to take a picture with our kids because they thought they were so cute. ha ha ha. It was really funny. We loved the Toy Story ride and Soaring over California. We went to the 3D bugs life show and Carter LOVED the stink bug. He talked about it the rest of the trip. Then boys both fell asleep waiting in line for the World of Color show. ;( It was so neat though! They would have loved it. By the time we made it back to the car, we had been there for 17 hours. Neither kid had cried, whined, threw a fit, a begged for anything the whole time. They were so great! I was really proud of them. We got back to the hotel and the boys got a stuffed Buzz and Woody that night and loved them. They both had a bowl of macaroni and cheese before zonking out.

Wednesday, we decided to let the boys sleep in a little so they would be rested for the next day. We ended up getting there about 9:00. We finished up a few things at California Adventure that we wanted to do, went to the Playhouse Disney show again, got our picture with McQueen and Mater, and headed to Disneyland for the rest of the day. Mason HATED the haunted mansion and LOVED Thunder Mountain Railroad. When he went on it with Mom, we were in the "super duper front." and he was more than excited! We had another busy, non-stop day and decided to call it early and headed out about 8:00. My Dad, sister, and brother were at the hotel when we got back and the boys were really excited to see them and tell them about our trip so far. The boys got a stuffed Buzz and Woody that night and loved them. Of course, they had their nightly Mac and Cheese. It took them a little longer to fall asleep, but they finally did. Mason woke up about 3:00 that morning and threw up Mac and Cheese all over us and the bed! YUCK! He woke up every hour or so the rest of the night too. I was so worried our last day at Disneyland would be miserable.

He was still sick as we got ready to go Thursday morning. We ran to the store to get some pepto and pedialight. We all had ziplock bags in our pockets for him to throw up in if he needed it. He did once in the car on the way, and then he was fine the rest of the day! I think it was just to much sun. By lunch he was back to his happy self. We had another great day. It was fun having a few of my family there for the day. We saw Woody and Jessie, and they gave Carter a hug and blew him a kiss. He is still talking about it. Totally made the trip for him! It was nice having extra hands too so Spencer and I could go on some rides together. We had the PERFECT spot for fireworks and Fantasmic that night. The boys LOVED it. We finally made our way back to the hotel, and had Mac and Cheese. Carter got a little buzz figure and Mason got a McQueen soccer ball. Carter kissed both of his Buzz-s good night and tucked them in bed. We washed diapers, and went to bed.

Friday we got to SLEEP IN! Which was nice. Then we went to downtown Disney for a few souvenirs. We found an In-N-Out burger for lunch and then headed to the beach! It was a blast. Carter liked it at first, but then got a little scared of the waves and opted to play in the sand instead. Mason played in the water for a while and then he and Spencer made a sand Sponge Bob. Spencer lost his expensive glasses in the water though. That was kind of a bummer. There is no finding anything in the ocean. When it's lost, it's lost! ha ha ha. When we were all beached out, we headed back to clean up. We were SO SANDY!!! Mason thought it was fun to be so dirty. We found a little Hawaiian place for dinner that was YUMMY and then headed to bed. Saturday we headed home. Our kids were tired and we only had to stop once. That was nice. We got home, unloaded and had a fun night with our company watching movies and unwinding. I miss the cool cloudy mornings and cool breezy nights, but I am very happy to sleep in my own bed. We are already looking forward to our next Disneyland trip, although it will be a little more complicated with another little one! It will take us a few years to save up, so we'll have time to get used to it by then hopefully. ;)
