It's the most wonderful time of the year. . . .

The kids jingle belling and everyone telling you be of good cheer is great don't get me wrong. But I have a few different reasons for thinking this is really the best time of the year. If Mason is throwing a fit, getting into something he shouldn't, mauling Carter, or otherwise being naughty, (I know it's hard to imagine such a sweet boy doing all of those things, but it does happen. ha ha ha.) all I have to do is say, "Mason, are you on the nice list, or the naughty list?" and instantly he is an angel child who will do ANYTHING I ask him to do. It doesn't last long, but when he starts being naughty again, I just have to remind him of that glorious nice list and he remembers to be good again. Thank you Santa!! Your obsession with lists and children's behavior is keeping this Mom just a little bit more sane this holiday season!

Seriously. My little guy doesn't understand it as well as Mason probably does, but I'm thinking next year it will work. Also, I stole something from you. I have been saying to Kannon, "You have two choices..." lol He's starting to learn timeout is not the place to be. We're still learning. lol So keep your mommy advice coming. Its a big help! :)

I use that, too, only Brig doesn't understand what that means yet... oh well, can't blame me for trying! But I'm excited for next year!

We threaten to call Santa every single day..and it works for about 5 seconds. The kids know that all parents have Santa on speed dial, so that is a good bargaining tool! :)
