Love and Logic

So I always give Mason choices like "You can choose to (whatever I want him to do), or you can choose to go to time out. What would you like to do?" Today I was trying to get him to lay down in his room by himself (Which he is doing REALLY good at lately.) and he said, "Mom, you have two choices. I can sit on your lap for naps, or lay on your shoulder. What you like a do?" At least I know he listens to me occasionally right? Little stinker.
