The List

So this week has been Spring Break. We were so excited to have a week off that last Sunday we decided to make a list of things to do during the week so that we could take advantage of the free time that we would have. I had the goal to do homework for at least two hours each day (DID NOT ACCOMPLISH). I wanted to get my Capstone completed (DID ACCOMPLISH) so that I could focus on preparing for my test on Saturday and for my oral defense. Mason had some other great ideas for our activities. Here are some of the things that he wanted to do: Watch two movies, play two games, make cinnamon rolls, go hiking/have a picnic, eat nachos, and cut paper. We have accomplished most of the items. Every day he wakes up and asks about the list and what we are going to do to accomplish the items on the list. It really has bee a fun break, it is too bad that it has to come to an end. I guess we can look at the bright side and remember that in 2.5 months we will have a lot of time to hang out and get things accomplished. I will be done with my master's so I won't have papers to put off all summer. To celebrate we are going to Disneyland. It will be my boys and my first time there. We are all excited. Mason asks us everyday if today is the day that we are going to Disneyland. It is going to be a blast. We only have to wait for three more months. I guess that is about all. I will let Jenny do the rest of the updates. She is much better at this!

I think you did a great job with the update, Spencer! You guys are going to love Disneyland! Maddux just told us this morning that Mason is going to be "WAY braver" than he was on the fast rides. :)

Funny that I read that and kept thinking the whole time "What is Jenny getting her master's in?" I was super confused. Got it now. You guys are the funnest family. Wish some of your ambition to get things accomplished would rub off on a certain someone I know and love here at my house ;)

Love to read what Mason says and does, what a funny kid!
